Warcove - Ferme Le Columbier.
AOK 15, KVA C, KV.Gr. Gris Nez, Stp. 174 Tilburg.

Between the roads D238 and D249 and the village Les Graves, the German Luftwaffe made in 1940 an airfield on about 200 hectares. Around this airfield they developed several defence points, but also taxi- and runways, maintenance shops for the airplanes and shelters.

One of those points was established at the Ferme Le Columbier along the D238. There are some small bunkers in the field along the road and on the "Ferme" are some buildings and bunkers used by the Germans left. Not all the objects can be visited, because of animals walking around or private use.

Types:
3x Vf2a Group shelter.
1x Vf3 MG post.
1x KSS cable connexion bunker, type C
1x "Soldatenheim"
1x Wall with shooting holes.

Warcove - Ferme Le Breuil.
AOK 15, KVA C, KV.Gr. Gris Nez, Stp. 174 Tilburg.

Just beside the other farm lies the "Ferme Le Breuil" with also some objects along the road.

This location is really nice because here you can see some left over's of the taxi runways the Germans made. In the Vf2a shelter, partly filled with water are still remains of the steel doors. Very special is the maintenance pit beside the airplane shelter that probably has been used for planes or cars of the Luftwaffe.

Types:
3x Airplane shelters.
1x Vf2a Group shelter.
1x Air-raid shelter.
1x Maintenance pit for planes or cars.
1x Taxi runway.
1x Water tank remains.
1x Switchbox remains.
